Age Limit: Upper age limit of candidate is 32 years for Scientist and 37 years for Senior Scientist as on 20-05-2013. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess Ph.D in Geophysics/ Geology for Scientist and Ph. D in Geophysics/ Civil Engineering/ Geochemistry/ Applied Geochemistry for Senior Scientist with relevant experience.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test/ interview.
Application Fee:Candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.100/- in the form of Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Director, NG.R.I.” payable at Hyderabad. SC/ ST/ PH/ Women/ CSIR Employees/ Abroad Candidates are exempted from the fee.
How to Apply: Interested candidates can apply through Online by giving necessary details till 20-05-2013. They are advised to note down the Registration ID on successful submission of online form for future reference. After submission of form, candidates should take a printout of the computer generated application form and sign each page of the form and sign in full across the photograph affixed and send the same along with attested copies of all the relevant necessary certificates, mark sheets, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), Demand Draft by super scribing the post applied for on the envelope by post to The Controller of Administration, CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute, Uppal Road, Hyderabad-500007, A.P on or before 24-05-2013.

3. Select the link “For Online Submission” for online application form.
4. Fill all the mandatory details and click on ‘Submit Application’ button to submit the application form without any errors.

6. Send the printed application form along with necessary enclosures by post.
