II. Deputy Keeper (Pre-History): 01 Post
III. Senior Conservation Officer: 01 Post
IV. Publication Officer: 01 Post

Age Limit: Upper age limit of candidate is 45 years as on 31-03-2013. Relaxation is applicable as per GOI orders.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Indian History or Sanskrit or Pali or Prakrit or Persian or Arabic or Archaeology or Anthropology or Art History, special knowledge in Pre-History and Diploma in Museology for S.No.I & II Posts; Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in physical or Inorganic Chemistry for S.No.III Post; Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in English or Indian History or Sanskrit or Pali or Prakrit or Persian or Arabic or Archaeology and/or Indian History, Art and Anthropology for S.No.IV Post with relevant experience.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on test and interview.

Application Fee: Candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.100/- in the form of Demand Draft from a Nationalized/ Scheduled Bank drawn in favor of “Indian Museum Trust Account”. SC/ ST candidates are exempted from payment of the fee.

How to Apply: Candidates have to send applications along with Demand Draft in a sealed envelope by super scribing the name of the post applied for on the envelope to Indian Museum, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, 27, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Kolkata–700016 on or before 30-04-2013.
