How To Apply: 1. Prescribed application forms can be obtained from the Office of Assistant Registrar (Forms & Stationery), University of Jammu, Jammu, personally on payment of ` 700/- or by sending Bank Draft of ` 750 for Post at S.No. 1 & 2 and ` 500/- or by post by sending Bank Draft of ` 550/- for posts at S.No. 3 onwards respectively drawn in favour of the REGISTRAR, UNIVERSITY OF JAMMU, JAMMU-180006, payable at Jammu.
2. The application form can also be downloaded from the University Website www.jammuuniversity.in. Those who submit the downloaded application form shall be required to enclose Bank Draft worth ` 750 for posts at S.No. 1&2 and ` 550/- for Posts at S.No. 3 onwards drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Jammu, Jammu 180006 encashable at Jammu. The candidate shall, however, be required to put his/her signature with date on the bottom of each page of the downloaded application form.
3. Application forms accompanied with attested copies of qualification certificates/testimonials including experience certificates issued by the competent authority, alongwith self-addressed envelope affixed with postal stamps worth Rs. 50/- be sent only by Registered/Speed Post to the Deputy Registrar, Adm.(C&R), Room No.112, Old Administrative Block, University of Jammu, so as to reach him on or before 30th December, 2013. Government jobs are always the most preferred jobs among the middle class. Opening for electricians in government jobs are available in plenty these days and sacking in one for your own is not a troublesome affair either. There are certain procedures and formalities that you have to do. The qualifications and eligibility criteria are all mostly basic requirements. To be eligible for the post of electrician you need to be 10th standard or matriculation or equivalent qualified. Apart from this having National Trade Certificate (NTC) & National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the respective trades are also desirable. The preferred age limit is between 18 to 30 years.
