Govt Jobs for Graduates

A graduate is in demand at Government institutes for various departments. Be it navy or army, a graduate in field of computers is also welcomed with decent pay package, allowances and yearly increments. A few organizations do not consider applications from person above 25 years of age. Pay scale and pay grade may vary depending on the organization hiring a graduate. A graduate may be needed in banking sector for post of probationary officers or engineering graduates in army or navy, or intelligence bureaus, etc. Your job may land you in SSC or Railways or UPSC. Pay scale for graduate engineer trainee in Government organization is in the range of Rs. 16,400 to Rs 40,500. This pay is provided when a trainee has completed his or her training. During training period, a stipend of either Rs 8000 or Rs 9000 is paid. Pay during training may or may not include HRA. That is, it is dependent on organization hiring a graduate. Since it is stipend there may not be any other allowances. Training duration may last a year or two depending on organization. This information of training duration is provided when post vacancies are published in newspapers. Once training is completed successfully, they are eligible for all other allowances like TA/DA/HRA, etc. Basic pay plus all other allowances amount to a good salary. When one is employed with Government organization like Army or Navy, they get commodities at very cheap prices. This is another job perk that government pays to their employees. Also, their medical needs are also taken care of, in their own specialized hospitals for employees. A person is also provided quarters if found eligible for HRA, provided there is availability of quarters at the time of application. Pay commission revises pay scales of each group of government employee and revises them from time to time.
