Applications in prescribed format are invited from Male/ Female Indian Citizens ordinarily resident of the States of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh (UT), Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan to fill up the vacancies in the rank of Constable (Technical/Tradesmen) i.e., Driver / Fitter / Bugler / Tailor / Brass Band / Cobbler / Carpenter / Gardener / Painter / Cook / Water Carrier / Safai Karamchari / Barber / Washer Men/Women in Central Reserve Police Force. :

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200 Plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2000/-

Application Fee : Application fee of Rs. 50/- in the form of Indian Postal Order duly crossed/ Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque in favour of DIG, Group Centre, CRPF of concerned Application Receiving Centres identified for their respective States be sent by General and OBC candidates along with the application form. No application fee is required to be paid by SC/ST candidates,Ex-Servicemen and Mahila candidates.

How to Apply : Eligible and desirous candidates, who fulfill eligibility conditions, may send their application in the prescribed proforma duly typed or neatly hand written and filled up in all respects on full-scap paper, affixing latest passport size photograph duly attested on application at the space prescribed for the purpose and two self addressed envelops of 4” x 9” size with Rs. 22/- postage stamps affixed thereon, to the DIG, Group Centre, CRPF of concerned Applications Receiving Centres as mentioned in detailed advt. on or before the last prescribed date i.e. 21/11/2012 super scribing on the envelop “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE (TECHNICAL/TRADESMEN)–2012” by any available means of post.

Police Constable Jobs

The position of a constable belongs to the police department of a state or central government. Each and every police station needs constables for their work force. Therefore the position of a constable occurs in vast numbers in state and central government. The position also occurs at Border SECURITY Force and Indo Tibetan Police Force. Hence, there are greater chances of selection for every interested candidate. The eligibility criterion for the post of constable is simple one, wherein the interested candidates should be matriculate and physically fit. They should be able to run a certain distance within a specified time limit. The age limits for the post of constable is between 18 years to 25 years, and the post is open to all the citizen of this country with a few percentages reserved for SC, ST, BC, PWD and Ex-service men candidates. Besides the educational qualifications physical fitness is the main criteria for the post of constable. The candidate should be normally intelligent, quick on physical movements. The initial pay scale is PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 and Grade Pay Rs.2000. besides other benefits. The post demands total dedication and bravery. The eligible candidates should have strong body and mind set to act immediately on the orders given by the senior officers. They should be honest by nature and eager to serve for the safety of the masses (general public). Application should be submitted in a prescribed format to the Inspector General of the specified police station when they call for a vacancy. You should send a demand draft of Rs50 along with your application form at the said address. There is no fee for SC / ST and Ex-servicemen candidates. Short listed candidates would be asked to sit for a written exam and also tested for all round physical fitness. Once selected, they would be sent for constable training before actually assigning a post. This is a respectable Job. One should be proud of serving the nation in this way fighting the evils of the society.
