Age Limit: Candidates age must not exceed 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess Doctorate in Fisheries/ Zoology with specialization in Fisheries/ Marine Science/ Aquaculture Engineering/ Civil Engineering/ Public Administration/ Finance Management for Sr. No. 1 post, Doctorate in Fisheries/ Zoology with specialization in Fisheries/ Aquaculture/ Fish Processing Technology/ Marine Biology/ Fisheries Micro Biology/ Industrial Fisheries for Sr. No. 2 posts, Degree in Civil Engineering/ Marine Engineering for Sr. No. 3 posts, M.F.Sc (4+2 years)or PG in Marine Science, Industrial Fisheries, zoology with specialization in Fisheries for Sr. No. 4 posts, Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering or equivalent for Sr. No. 5 posts, B.F.Sc (4 years) for Sr. No. 6 posts, B.E or Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering or equivalent for Sr. No. 7 posts.
