2. There will be a sub-quota of 4.5% reservations for minorities, as defined under Section (2)© of the National Commission for Minorities Act,1992 from within the 27% reservation of OBCs as notified by Department of Personnel & Training vide OM No. 41018/2/2011/-Estt.(Res) dt 22.12.2011.
3. Relaxation in age limit to be provided for the Scheduled castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Ex-Servicemen, Other Backward Classes and other special categories of persons in accordance with the order issued by the Central Government from time to time.
4. The Manager, Govt. of India Press, Koratty reserve the right to fill up all the posts or alter the number of post or restrict the number of candidates to be called for Test/Interview or reject any application.
6. The date and time of Test/Interview will be intimated later to the eligible candidates separately, for which one self attested photo of the applicant be affixed in the Application form and 3 copies be kept with the application. Two Self-addressed stamped envelope may be accompanied with the application.

The position of a clerk demands generally an office work. Clerks may also be called as a white collar worker. Clerks are usually responsible for record keeping, official correspondence, filing, staffing service counters and retrieving old records stored and other administrative tasks in the office. The position of clerks occurs in quite a large numbers in various organizations like railways, airways, shipyards, hospitals, banks, police services, courts, industries, sale’s organizations, or any office which needs record keeping and letter drafting. The eligibility criterion for the post of clerks is simple one, wherein the interested candidates should passed higher Secondary but graduate preferred. The positions are open to all including freshers as well as experienced ones. Experienced people need to be knowledgeable about their specific fields which could be tested in an interview. The candidates should have a pleasing personality, eagerness to work and able to follow instructions easily from their senior officers. To apply for the positions you need to send the application form and the required documents at the address of the said office as per the notice. Once shortlisted you would be invited for the interview and your travel fares would be paid for by the said office.
