Educational Requirements: 1. Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree with specialization in Sahitya. 2. Acharya/Master's Degree with specialization in Sahitya with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a 7 point scale wherever grading system is followed) 3. A minimum of eight years of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University/ college or accredited research institution excluding the period of Ph.D. research

General Condition: 1. Applicants should send their applications in the given prescribed format of application available in the University Web-Site.
2. Last date for receiving applications in the University is 09.12.2013. Applications received after due date will summarily be rejected. Postal delay cannot be cited as reason.
3. Applications should be sent only through Registered post with ack.due / speedpost. Direct submission or sending through courier is not permitted.
4. A D.D. for rupees 500/ from a Scheduled Bank (Rupees 250/ In the case of S.C./S.T.) must be sent along with the application form for each post in favour of “Registrar, Shree Somnath Sanskrit University, Veraval” payable at Veraval – Gujarat.
5. Probation period for all posts will be two years.
