LDC Recruitment

Various government openings for lower division clerks or LDC are available. All you need to have is a good communication skill and an ambition to work hard to fit for this job. Lower Division Clerks who work on the court premises form an important part of the judicial administration. The eligibility criterion is 10 standard pass out or an equivalent educational achievement from a recognized university or board. The age limit is also quite flexible and mostly ranges between 18 to 27 years. As is obvious, there are number of courts spread all over India, hence there are a large number of requirements. With work experience you also get the opportunity to work in higher level courts such as High Courts or Supreme Courts. The pay scale is good for a starter and ranges between Rs3000 to Rs5000. There are also other benefits associated with this job making it a very desirable position in the lower clerical grade. Anyone can apply for this post and in fact, this position also has several quotas in the various categories like SC, St, UR, OBC, Ph and ex-servicemen. To apply for this post you would have to send in an application fee by demand draft or bank cheque to the respective court for Rs200 in case of general category and for Rs100 in case of reserved category. You also have to affix three recent passport sized photographs along with the application forms. Once your application is selected then you would be asked to sit for a written exam where your Basic English writing skill would be tested. The exam would comprise of general grammar, essay writing and translations from English to the local language or vice versa.
