Pay Scale: Rs.15, 600/- – Rs.42, 000/- (PB – 4A) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5, 400/-.
Educational Requirements: (i) A Masters’ Degree of two years duration (regular) course, with Honours at Graduation level, having at least 55% marks in any school teaching subject and Diploma/Degree in Education/Primary Education with 55% marks – all from recognized University/Institute. OR M.Ed./M.Ed. (Elementary) with 55% marks or M.A. in Education with 55% marks and Diploma/Degree in Primary/Elementary Education with 55% marks – all from recognized University/Institute; (ii) Five years experience of teaching in Primary or Elementary Teachers’ Training Institute; (iii) Knowledge of Bengali – spoken and written (for Bengali Medium Schools) & Knowledge of Nepali – spoken and written (for Nepali Medium Schools) and (iv) Acquisition of Computer Literacy.
