Educational Requirements: 1) Ph.D in the relevant subject or 2) Master of Sciences from a recognised university or equivalent with at least (55%) in any specified subject/relevant area with 4 years of relevant experience; or 3) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis; or in the pay scale of PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100+GP of Rs.5400/- with 3 years experience in a Government/Semi Government institution.
Experience Requirements: Experience in research areas of Physical Oceanography, Ocean models / data collection at sea using various instruments / Modeling & assimilation OR Teaching and Research in an academic Institution Research & Development organization / Laboratory
